I'm not at all a fan of animals kept in zoo's and if we stopped killing then and over developing and started looking after the environment, we might have no need for them...but that's not going to happen, so.... they are there and getting to see them up close and personal is always a beautiful thing.

Comments   Very good closeup! Fabulous. I feel the same about Zoo's .. and yet I still go to them. I have been to many .. in many different places & climates. The best .. mm I don't know really .. London zoo is neat. The worst...and there's been some bad ones!...Cairo sticks out in my mind mainly because they had a polar bear...that really upset me.

As far as I know, I've only been to the Joburg one. I believe the Pretoria zoo is quite wonderful.
I also despise the circus and refuse to go to them..lol. Thank you very much
